Old Swan

Loved the decor, room was very comfortable, it had everything we needed, lovely touches, small fridge was an excellent idea, whole stay was fabulous!

Friendly helpful staff, quality of the food and service both excellent, staff could not be more helpful. Exceeded my expectations from the initial view of the exterior.

It tends to be busy in the bar (noisey with locals) on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant for lunches

The food was awfull the breakfast the egg was over done on one side and not cooked on the other. The evening meal was a plate full of stoge the cheese and onion pie was more potatoes than cheese

The breakfast was superb. Excellently cooked using fantastic ingredients. Evening menu was just as good and very competitively priced. The bar served and excellent range of drinks. The beers on hand pull were exceptional. All the staff were friendly efficient and polite.

I should have booked for three nights! I should have eaten there on both evening instead of trying elsewhere. I would have likes to be able to get breakfast at 8am.

Lovely old pub in a very pretty village. It was laid back and friendly, we were very comfortable there. Ideal for walkers and situated just a few miles from Skipton. The railway station is within walking distance if you don't want to take the car
