Apartamentos Belmonte

Recent hotels I have stayed at did not have things available for use. Belmonte had a Microwave, Kettle, coffee maker, televisions in living room and bedroom, tea towel and washing up liquid provided and daily fresh loafs provided. Hotel is close to town for access to bars, restaurants and beach.

There was nothing that I did not like really. Local hotel was noisy with music but this stopped early.

Nice apartment, very complete kitchen, and good bathroom. Fresh breadrolls in the morning!

Instructions for use of wifi/tv only in Germany / Spanish, it would have been nice if also in English.

It was great location from the beach and Yumbo. Daily free bread delivery was definitely a plus, which we took big advantage of. Staff were friendly and helpful. Small property means that the pool area was not busy at all.

Air con was stated in the apartment manual but it either was switch off externally or didn’t work. Apartment is opposite a bit Riu hotel and the nightly entertainment was loud until past midnight and lack of soundproofing. Bring ear plugs if you’re an early sleeper.

The location was perfect; easy walk to beach, supermarket 100m, main entertainment centres a 5 minute walk. Rooms comfortable and well equipped in general. Free daily bread roll and water on arrival. Good communication with staff.

Wi-Fi did not work in the bedroom and a little weak elsewhere. The Rui across the road has very noisy entertainment from 1900-2400. Did not really affect me as I went out in the evenings but if you want to stay in, it is a little intrusive. TV in lounge not many channels and no English. In bedroom TV had Sky News as the only English Channel. Although communication was good I was misinformed of the price of the transfer, supposedly €35 but charged €50. Recommend buses as €3 each way!
