Perfectly fine stay. Plenty of parking. Shower was hot with good pressure. Spacious bathroom. Fast wifi. Staff were friendly. Skylink buses just outside the hotel so it was easy to get to Download Festival and back.

Mattress was very uncomfortable. Overpriced for the quality, size and cleanliness of the hotel room. Needs a good renovation. Shower was tiny, lots of people would struggle to fit in it. Thin walls so not particularly quiet.

Convenient distance from Donington Park. The garden and facade are pretty.

The shower is very narrow and water pressure low. The heating came up and was blasting all of a sudden. The room was not well insulated from the outside noise. Contradiction with room service times. No one at the reception when we wanted to check in and the wait was quite long.

Staff friendly and nice and responsive

Clean, functional and very reasonable price, decent bar and restaurant on site.

Facilities in room are basic but perfectly adequate for the price.

Easy to find. And well maintained. I’ve read some reviews on here that say it’s a bit worn out, Maintenance is always an on going issue with any property. For what I paid. £68 with free parking and a good breakfast I personally think it’s very good value for money. You would be hard pushed to get a travel lodge for that price. The staff were very welcoming. And everything was clean. I’ll most definitely be back if in the area
