Ocean Crest Motel

The owners spoke very rudely to the staffs. The same rudeness is displayed in spoken words towards the guests as well. Very filthy place. There is ample parking available though. Just good for one night.

Looking for somewhere to stay where: There's no toilet paper? Your towels are neatly folded, but obviously recently used? The crockery and cutlery is random & there is no way to wash or dry it? Your UHT milk in the fridge has been opened and used? You are probably sharing the well made bed with the DNA from the last couple that stayed there? Your door is left unlocked, aircon and lights on? The lamp is broken? The place is stained and generally dirty? Your belongings go missing? And, the owners are rude & evasive - no-one picks up when you ring to pick up or drop off your key, or complain? Then Ocean Crest is the place for you! Honestly - save your money & stay away. Yuck!

Spent one night only booked for 2 adults &2 kids. Dirty carpet at entrance, quite a bit of dust on window sill &table which needed wiping . Only 2 towels provided requested more. Some of the crockery &cutlery was dirty & random amounts 2x mugs, 2x glasses, 2x plates no forks ,1xknife, 3x spoons , 3xteaspoons don't forget I booked for 4 . Pillows stained , no top sheets on bunk beds, quilts were so thin thankfully it wasn't a warm night .Tv not working after some time trying to locate a remote for it. Room in need of some TLC &I realise it's only a 3 star rating but there still has to be a level of cleanliness to adhere to.

This is a great motel room was well equipped with microwave, fridge and kettle. It had a comfortable double bed with a single bed in the room as well. There is also an on-site cafe with service food till 2000. The owners were very friendly and accommodating would recommend it.

We were set for a two day stay, paid in advance. The first room we were given had pet hair all over the floor, no fly screens, no locks on the windows. We asked for a new room. The new room had no locks on the windows, no light bulbs, smelled disgusting and was dirty. We decided to leave, and lost our money. Wife complained to the manager, who did not give a sh@t. Avoid at all costs.

The Motel was central for sightseeing. It was really quiet at night which made for a good nights sleep in conjunction with really comfortable beds. This counts a lot when spending 7 nights. We found the staff really helpful and nice. We sampled the Café food a few nights and decided that it was value for money and can recommend it. We will be back!

Short one night stay, the reception and cafe / shop were closed most of the time. However for the price, the bed was very comfortable and rooms are very cosy. I would have been more than happy to spend longer here and it really is great value for money..

Stayed for several nights, would be ok for one night if you wanted somewhere cheap. As mentioned by others reception is closed most of the time and they’re not keen on answering their phone either. The room had a blanket pinned up as a curtain. Cleanliness was not too bad. Many of the rooms appeared to be occupied by permanent residents or maybe short term rentals. There was a distinctly unsavoury feel to the place. I ate in the cafe once, food was ok but the place didn’t smell too good.

We booked here only because it was $94 a night pretty cheap for what we were looking at in the area. It was only going to be for a night so I wasn’t too fussed on what it was going to look like. But I would definitely book again. The beds were comfortable One of the cleaners motel rooms I have seen. The lady at reception was very helpful.

A great value standard motel a short drive from Victor Central and within walking distance to a supermarket and other conveniences. This is a good motel to have as a base to explore the region. This was a return visit, a positive experience, and likely we will be back. The things I like are that everything is clean and works. For example, the hot water came through well and the appliances are clean and well-maintained. Having a microwave and decent size room fridge helps the traveller. The wifi worked and helped us plan our holiday. Parking at the door is good. There is an adjoining cafe' with a good selection. Compact, neat and comfortable accommodation. Recommended.
