Ocean Crest Motel

The unattended reception sign on the front door was confusing. We left twice believing there was no one there to allow us entry. The owner had been there all along. He did however upgrade us for the inconvenience.

Good location and good price

Location was great as we attended a festival in Victor Harbor.

Very run down, needs a little updating and there was hair in the sink so definatly needs a better clean

Room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfortable. It had crockery, cutlery and microwave as promised. Fridge. We only needed a place to sleep and shower. Had breakfast one morning, bowls easy to clean in bathroom hand basin, although it is small. Lots of hot water in the shower. It's well located, away from main road but convenient to Victor and Port Elliot. Good blinds and curtains to block out early morning light. Suited out purpose perfectly. Toilet paper a plenty!

Did not reply to 1 pm check in Bed was not made when checked in 2 pm..had to wait another 3 hours for bed to be made.No dish washing liquid to wash dishes

The property was very clean, looked like it had been recently painted. It had crockery and cutlery as advertised, plus a microwave which most motels don't have. Plenty of water in the shower, temperature was fine. Curtains and blinds blocked out early morning light and it was away from the main road so no road noise. Bed was comfortable. Hand basin in bathroom is very small to wash up any plates, however we only used bowls for breakfast. We were out for other meals. It suited us as we were out pretty much the whole day, just needed a place to sleep and shower. The area has so many nice cafe's it's tempting to eat out for breakfast too, which we did on our second day.

Dirty, terrible hot water, smelt like smoke, towels smelt bad, shower leaked water everywhere

The rooms were clean and tidy. The bathroom was so small i struggled to open the shower door and couldnt even use the basin to wash my face as there wasnt enough room. The hot water came and went so if you like a cold shower than this is your place. The reception was unmanned even at check in time. I felt like an intrusion.

Went to have a shower at night and had water leaking down the wall and onto the floor from the roof!!
