MonkBridge House

WiFi was very sketchy and did not work most of the time but did click in every so often. The house and location are great as a jumping off point anywhere in the Lake District.

Great stay, lovely space, nice welcome from the owners. Great breakfasts too. OMG the granola!

Nothing really, all fine. It was hot, but that was the weather.

Couldn’t find any fault regarding this stay, will be coming back. Thank you

Eine tolles und sehr sauberes B&B mit leckerem Frühstück. Lage top, nur 10 Minuten per Fuß in die Innenstadt. Das Haus verfügt ebenfalls über einen schön angelegten Garten. Freundliche und nette Gastgeber. Parkmöglichkeit vorhanden.

Breakfast was cooked nicely

Greeting at door on arrival non existant . Not made to feel welcome at all . Then proceeded with locker for car keys ,followed by pre order breakfast rules & regulations. Finally showing us to our room Far too many rules ,do's & don't. Arrived for breakfast 3 mins early & scolded. However tables were empty & laid & no one came after us . Just felt very uncomfortable & did not enjoy our stay .

There was a lovely welcome on our arrival, we were shown to our room by the host. Everything was explained to make our stay comfortable, eg, breakfast times and choices. The use of a lounge and garden, local attractions etc. There were complementary drinks and biscuits, a mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked, with an abundance of fresh fruit and cereals etc.
