The property could be better. Roaches in the room. The room looked nice but they need to call an exterminator. No matter what the price no one deserves roach. Otherwise fine for the price

"Roach Motel with Prostitute Ring"

2.0

Literally the cliche of a roach motel. Bugs, crackhead, and prostitutes a plenty. The rooms are literally disgusting, and I tried to scrub the stains off the wall but years of grime wouldn’t budge. Nothing is renovated and they cater to the needs of people who “work nights” AKA the prostitutes I'm sure the manager is pimping out for free room and board. The staff uses the hotel and a place for them to feel powerful, they make money off drug addicts and kick out families trying to get by. Wouldn’t hear my opinion, they all hanged up on me because my kids ran down the hall once at 9:30am. They never screamed in the middle of the night, but because I tried to communicate with Brittany the cleaning lady that doesn’t actually clean, we got kicked out because apparently “they work there” and I’m not allowed to speak. Do not stay here unless you’re desperate and even then I would recommend staying in your car.

"Rude management, VERY kid unfriendly"

2.0

I wouldn't even put one star if I could! Tom is rude and unprofessional and will bang on your door if you have toddlers everyday and get rude with you, Very kid unfriendly, drug users and dealers everywhere dealing out their windows, couples screaming and fighting and slamming doors but Tom allows that and not kids. If I had known abt any of it, I sure would not of even stepped into the building especially with my kids but we came for work from.another state. The pictures of updated rooms are fabricated. There are not any updated rooms at all. D Don't recommend this place at all. Hope it falls down. Tom will get fired eventually though thats a given.

"Does it have issues? Yes. Are the issues taken care of? Yes. "

8.0

My fiancé and I stayed here for a little over two months, from Thanksgiving until three weeks after New Years. I’ve stayed at other InTown Suites prior and had some idea of what to expect. First off, the good: Tom and Dan at the front desk do the best they can to help their guests. Yes, they can be a little blunt at times, but no one is perfect. Ron the maintenance man is a riot, always having a friendly attitude. Bob the courtesy officer is very friendly and won’t put up with nonsense from guests acting in an inappropriate manner. The housekeepers Brittany and Geneva are absolute sweethearts and work very hard. Now the bad, hence the one point reduction: Throughout our stay, there was the odor of marijuana several times in the hall. (One culprit, who was located on our floor, was discovered and kicked out of the hotel with no refund.) There was several issues brought up about kids running around to Tom and Dan, which they would address immediately, only to have the kids start up again after they would tell them to knock it off. Also, in a twenty four hour period, there was an incident with a guest on my floor, yelling and/or banging on other guests doors at extremely early and/or late hours (the second time around requiring a response from the St. Charles Police to calm the woman down, who also was removed from the hotel around 12:15 am). In addition, First Capitol Drive is a commonly used route by local paramedics to St. Joseph’s Hospital in downtown St. Charles and it’s not uncommon to hear sirens on both First Capitol and I-70 (which the north side of the hotel faces) multiple times during the day. Finally, if you are unfamiliar with the area, the hotel entrance can be hard to find, as it is physically off Veterans Memorial on the top of a small hill and is on the south side of the hotel. All in all, I enjoyed my stay, despite the above incidents occurring and I would stay there again.
