Eastwind Hotel Lake Placid

Prijetna, lepo opremljena soba in kopalnica, dodana vrednost je večerni ogenj in druženje ob njem, lepo urejena okolica

Vse mi je bilo všeč.

Such a well decorated hotel. The soaps smelled nice. I loved the kettle and tea in the room. I loved sitting on the porch with the free coffee in the morning.

קיבלנו חדר מהמם אבל פתאום גילינו שהכריות מלוכלכות בשחור של מסקרה ואז מתחת לסמיכה גילינו כתם גדול של שתן על המיטה.. הודענו מייד, התנצלו ואמרו שינקו לנו את החדר או שיחליפו לנו חדר.. הפקיד ממש דיבר אלינו בצורה לא נעימה וממש כעס עלינו כשאנחנו אלה שצריכים לכעוס..בנוסף הבריכה היתה מטונפת, האופניים שהם מפרסמים שניתן לקבל לא היו בטענה שהם צריכים להגיע מחר עם יו.פי.אס.. בקיצור הם אישרו לנו לבטל את ההזמנה, המקדמה הוחזרה לאחר כשבועיים.

The grounds were beautiful, and the property and rooms were unique. The staff were helpful. It was a great value compared to other choices at the time.

The staff was very attentive, and willing to answer any questions. The location was great and the establishment was very clean. Definitely a place I recommend when visiting Lake Placid.

I really loved the sauna after a long hike, took some breaks in between to enjoy the stars outside with no excessive lights like you were into the woods. Also the cozy room with bathtub made the stay more relaxing. The fire pit and the S’mores were great, unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy them because I arrived late from the downtown. Certainly will do next time!

Looks like there is no frequent maintenance in the room that the body soap for the bathtub was empty and the hand shower didn’t work that it was difficult to take a really good showering. For people with large luggage, the second floor will be difficult to carry it on to the second floor.

Great Lushna room, everything needed for 1 or 2 in a condensed but very nice room. Friendly staff, easy check in, location is good being close to the center of Lake Placid. Campfire, sauna and direct access to the river.

I was surprised to notice not having a TV in my room, but actually I never missed it

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were awesome. The location is walking distance into town, which is good. The fire pit was the highlight of the stay where I met some other travelers and had a really nice evening both nights in conversation around the fire pit.

The landscaping was really bad. There were weeds growing throughout the property. I also didn't have the ability to change my thermostat temperature w/o all the rooms in the building where my room was located also being affected. The staff seemed to know this was a problem when I asked about why I could not get my mini split to work in my room. I let them know that water leaks under the shower wall and pools in front of the vanity. There was a light outside of the room that was very bright at night filling the room with light even though I pulled the shades. I let them know this was a problem too.
