"Wish we had more time!"

We loved our brief stay at Kona Kai on our way down to Key West. We arrived after the office was closed and they had info as well as dining suggestions left for us. We couldn't appreciate the resort when we arrived because it was raining and dark, but the room was so cozy. The morning was beautiful and we enjoyed coffee on the small pier. The grounds were simply stunning with all the botanicals. I cannot wait to return!

We were a little nervous to stay in a standalone bungalow after another bad recent experience at a different location. But the staff was friendly, and we really enjoyed the spacious unit and the beautiful views from the waterfront.

My stay at Kona Kai Resort was absolutely wonderful, easily one of the best experiences I’ve had in the Keys. The property is stunning, peaceful, and immaculately maintained. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect.

We stayed in the Fig room and everything from check in to check out was perfect. The room was clean and spacious. The lovely woman who checked us in on arrival was super informative and gave great restaurant suggestions. One of the most peaceful hotel stays I've ever had. I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the amenities. I will definitely be back.

We concur with the online consensus... Kona Kai is one of the best! Great location in Key Largo! Super friendly staff ... Kathryn was da bomb! So helpful with insider, local info! Our room was newly remodeled, everything first-rate, super comfy. Lush, tropical grounds, fun gallery in the office, botanical gardens Lon grounds! Nice bay front waterfront, with nice dock, water sports included. We needed a late check out, no problem! An awesome place to stay, reasonably priced, great staff! Highly recommend!

Cozy cottages set amongst lush landscaping some with water view. Pool, jacuzzi, lounge beds and hammocks are perfect for a relaxing stay. For the more active there’s kayaking, tennis and pickle ball. Staff were amazing and helpful with anything we needed.
