Broughwood Cottage Snowshill, Cotswold Stone Cottage

Loved the house and especially the well stocked kitchen. Really appreciated the welcome hamper. It was nice and warm, including the bedrooms. Beautiful views. Liked the Nespresso machine.

The showers did give us some problems. We did everything as suggested. Did not use showers at the same time but water did not get any warmer then 37 degrees. However the hot water from both sinks and bath did get nice and warm, so we used the bath.

sofas a little uncomfortable. shower temps a little tricky to control. description says there is a hot tub. we went equipped… there isn’t one 🤣

The property was love at first sight. We extended our vacation just to have the opportunity to stay at Broughwood Cottage. And ... our expectations were exceeded. 4 nights were not enough ... we would like to stay forever :). The village is like a chocolate box: beautiful, peaceful, surrounded by great scenery and postcard villages, waiting to be discovered; hope to return, sometime, for Christmas.

What a fabulous property! Well appointed with all the details thoroughly covered. Gorgeous location, beautifully renovated cottage and wonderful tips and communication by the host. We stayed here with 2 adults and 2 young children, and it was perfect for country rambles and evenings by the fire. We made good use of the excellent kitchen and I enjoyed the modernised Aga experience, complete with cookbook and illustrated how-to guide. The lovely garden and outdoor seating were also put to good use given the surprisingly warm autumn weather. I can't recommend this property highly enough. Excellent value for money. Thank you for having us!

Nothing. The quirks of country plumbing have been well accounted for with the new shower system, and it simply takes 2 minutes to figure it out. After that it's a doddle.

The property was enchanting and unique. How often do you get to stay in a home built in the 17th century. It was cozy and you could sit by the fire looking out at a beautiful garden with spectacular views of the Cotswolds.

I am a fan of really hot showers, and you could not take a really hot shower. Mind you the showers were warm enough. However I would say that is a very small sacrifice for the quaintness and charm of the house and the town.
