Breakfast was really nice, the hosts are very kind. We were unlucky with the weather but overall it was a pleasant stay. The bathroom is very humid, the air is not well extracted.

Location is close to town and on the beach. Staff are friendly. Board games available to play. Breakfast is provided.

A couple of cockroaches in our room. Lights didn't all work so the room was dark. Air conditioning leaked so we had to move our clothes rail forward so our clothes didn't get wet. One of the floor boards in our room was broken, we moved a mat ov er it so we didn't cut our feet.

everything about the property was exactly as described. it was a little bit of slow season so it was extremely quiet. We had no problem checking in and no problems with our reservation. it was a good value, however the room was a little bit bare-boned. This isn't bad. it's just very simple: a bed, two small nightstands, some shelves and bar for hanging and a smaller bathroom. everything's efficient and sufficient, but I wish they'd had a little bit more furniture in the room and hanging hooks for towels and other items and more hangers. The balcony was lovely overlooking the beach and Palm trees. it's a convenient location for exploring the area, and the main town area is easy to walk to. We were given beach towels in addition to the two towels in our room. that was a very nice touch. it is not a resort or a high-end luxurious hotel, but it is a very clean well-run property and perfect for families on a budget or surfers wanting beachfront access. keep in mind the beach directly in front is for more advanced surfers and always check with the locals about conditions. I ended up surfing 10 minutes away at Dominicalito

a few more towels, we would have liked to have had a hand towel and washcloth to begin with. also more hangers for hanging clothes or a clothesline in the shower or on the balcony for hanging clothes. This was the case at most places we went to in Costa Rica.
