Alloggio Turistico Port Inn

This is not a B and B. There is no host on site. It’s an apartment flat divided into sleeping areas. The breakfast was packaged foods that were rather unappealing. Train tracks outside room meant train noise (they do stop at midnight but started up at 3 am again,). The location of this place was good. Walkable to restaurants and market. They gave us tokens for free beer or wine at a great place! They will also drive you to your ship (if going on cruise) for 30 euros.

We booked this property based on excellent reviews on Hotel.com. Turns out there’s nothing excellent about this “bed and breakfast” which consists of four rooms in an office building complete with construction next door. Questionable security and negative charm. Severely overpriced for what it is. The “breakfast” is a coffee maker and store bought packaged baked goods. This is more a hostel than a bed and breakfast. We found other accommodations for the night. The outdated hotel down the street is actually preferable.

Very close from train station, clean, close to restaurant and mini markets and easy to communicate with person in charge. Small but exactly what we needed to spend 3 days around Rome before our cruise, they arranged transportation to cruise port for us also!!! We will definitely go back I

This is the only property I’ve ever stayed at where the shower is in the bedroom and not the bathroom

The owner was great about helping us get transport from the airport to the room and also transport to the cruise ship. The room was clean and many options for breakfast. I would highly recommend and definately stay again!

The manager was very welcoming and we were able to check in early. The unit was small but had everything we needed. The breakfast foods provided were excellent. The location was ideal in that it was close to the main train station..walking distance quite easy with luggage. And it was a block up from the beautiful waterfront and many restaurants.

Ports Inn was lovely. I booked this spot for a one-night stay for our cruise to Greece. Anna was very responsive and communicated with me months ahead of time and confirmed our reservation and airport transfers days prior. Anna arranged a taxi for out arrival. Cristino was one time and had a sign with our name on it waiting for us outside of baggage claim. He didn't park nearby, so we had to walk ways, but he handled my luggage for me. He was kind, super helpful, and friendly. When we arrived at the Ports Inn, Anna, the property manager, Sherry, checked us in. (I'm so sorry if I mixed up her name. It was a long flight). She was kind and explained the check-in process to us. The property is located on the 2nd floor of the building with dorm room-style rooms. We were given four keys: one for the main door, one elevator, one hallway door, and the door for our room. The room was nice. It was clean and organized, with AC, a queen bed, a shower, and a toilet with a fridge stocked with meat, cheeses, yogurt, milk, coffee, and various pastries. We were also given drink tickets to a local restaurant, My Lord, where we ate dinner. Sherry arranged our taxi for the following day, which was Anna, and she took us directly to our ship. The only odd thing was the shower; it was outside the bathroom next to the door when you first walked in. It was spotless, spacious and modern. Worth booking.
