Breakfast was perfect. Barbara cooked exactly what we wanted, and the time that we required it to be ready. Barbara's hospitality exceeded our expectations, she's an amazing lady with wonderful stories. Our comfort was her priority.

Peace and quiet of the countryside. Barbara is an amazing hostess and did all she could to make our stay pleasant. Her personal touch to make each breakfast special. Nice room with en suite bathroom and comfortable bed.

"Exceptional place to stay when visiting NZ. Treat yourself to stay a night or two and explore there."

We were welcomed from the minute we arrived. Barbara was a great host and made us feel most welcome. The room was exceptional with a lot of personal touches to it. You could see in the room how proud she was to share it and have people stay. Breakfast was also exceptional and cooked there and then by Barbara. Would stay there again when travelling over to NZ. It was a small drive into the Rolleston where there was plenty of restaurants to choose from for dinner.

There is nothing really I could say negative about this place. If I had to say anything and again, not a biggy....but the room did not have a TV......the room and bathroom were wonderful and very lavish except for the toilet paper which was low budget single ply tiny squares which did not go with the lavishness of the room. As I said...not a biggy with us and would not stop us staying there again or recommending this place to anyone. Barbara.....we loved staying there.

Everything is so spacious and relaxing, loving the spa too, the animals are a bunos for my daughter.Lovely host and loving the yummy breakfast.
