Tessa's on the Beach

We had a lovely stay overall. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and our room offered terrific views overlooking the beach, which was definitely a highlight. The breakfast box was excellent and a great option to start the day, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Public transport is so easy - bus stop right out the front! While the renovations have given the hotel a fresh feel, it is still a little pricey for the age of the property. The only real downside was the bed, which we found quite uncomfortable. It's something we'd hope to see addressed, as it would make a big difference and certainly encourage us to stay again.

The amenities didn’t quite match the price point, although we were staying during a very busy period with a major car festival in Coolangatta at the time.

Perfect beachfront location. View from 3 bedroom penthouse was fantastic. Comfortable beds, nicely decorated.

Make use of the supplied earplugs if you like sleeping in. Aircraft take off before 6am. There is a hefty flight of stairs to the penthouse so may not be suitable for frail or elderly visitors. The balcony door was hard to open.

We loved everything about our stay at Tessa's on the Beach. Our three-bedroom penthouse was exceptional, with stunning beach views and so many thoughtful extra touches that made it feel truly special. Each evening we enjoyed happy hour drinks and cocktails, delicious pizzas, and relaxing in the beer garden. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. A special thank you to our hosts, Grant and Paulo, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. In fact, every member of the team was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Tessa's on the Beach ticked every box for us, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
