The Herring House

La casa è stata ristrutturata con molto gusto ed è spaziosissima e molto luminosa; la pulizia era ottima in tutta la casa. Le camere sono grandi e con letti e materassi molto comodi. Veramente belli il salotto e la sala da pranzo, con vista sul piccolo paese di Siglufjörður. Bene anche la cucina, completa di tutto, con vista sul mare in lontananza. Non manca davvero nulla. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima.. ci ha accolto calorosamente all'inizio del soggiorno e ci ha consigliato per la cena uno dei pochi posti dove mangiare, dove ci siamo trovati molto bene. Ultimo ma non ultimo, il paese di Siglufjörður è fantastico. Tra i posti più belli che abbiamo visto in Islanda, è un luogo di tranquillità e pace che ci ha lasciato un bellissimo ricordo.

Forse solo il bagno, per quanto pulito e spazioso, avrebbe bisogno di essere completato. I tubi che si vedono in alto sulla parete stonano un po' col resto della casa.

Das hübsche Holzhaus und die Aussenanlage mit dem dazu gehörenden Hot Pot. Die Gastgeber haben sich äusserst fürsorglich um alle unsere Anliegen gekümmert. Unser Auto hatte einen Platten und der Gastgeber hat uns einen Termin bei der Autogarage besorgt und so können wir nun unbesorgt weiter reisen. Weil das Wetter sehr stürmisch wurde,baten sie uns sogar einen Umzug ins Haupthaus an🙏Das haben wir aber dankend abgelehnt. Die Lage ist super zentral und man kann diverse Ausflüge unternehmen. Das Frühstück kann separat dazu gebucht werdenund ist sehr lecker...sehr empfehlenswert🥰Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder einmal

Die Aussendusche ist bei diesen kühlen Tempsraturen und Sturm etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Doch es besteht zum Glück die Möglichkeit im Gästehaus zu duschen🤓

Tout était vraiment parfait Hôtes très gentils qui nous ont préparé un petit déjeuner parfait Nous étions seuls dans la maison donc nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous La chambre était merveilleuse ainsi que la vue Tout est très propre et agréable Le bain chaud était parfait Sûrement l’un de nos hébergement favoris durant tout notre road trip

The hosts were the best! They take such good care of their guests. The house has an amazing view of the church and the snow capped mountains. Also easy walking distance to the lovely downtown.

Absolutely nothing. The property was great.
