homie stay am Schloss Apartments

Kitchenette is nothing of the sort, it has a small work surface, a fridge and a sink. There is nowhere to leave crockery to dry and if you get the two ring hob down from where it is kept on top of a cupboard, it takes up the entire work surface meaning you now have nowhere to prepare food or serve up. They would be better off removing the kitchen entirely OR putting a larger set of units in and moving the kitchen table. Would not send us check in info until the day of arrival, and when we got there the keycode for the key safe was wrong meaning we had to call their emergency line. Washer and dryer down the hall was useful though. Crockery and cutlery looked like someone's bin ends - none of it (and I mean none of it) matched. Not actually in or even very near to Wurzburg despite listing implying it was on the outskirts.

The lights in the main room were broken. They sent me a link for the key codes, but I couldn’t open it. So I called them and got the code numbers, but they were incorrect. I had to call and write to them again. After a while, I received new codes, which worked.

Location

Broken cook plate so could not cook. Chose this apartment because it was supposed to have cooking facilities. I have special diet and need to cook myself. Contacted homekeepers Wurzburg within half an hour of arriving by email and it took them 24 hours to reply with Hey is everything working!! Sent 2 more emails and no response at all from homekeepers. Also bathroom door completely warped as shower leaks so could not close it all. Very embarrassing for my husband and I when we needed to use the toilet. Main light in room did not work so room very dark.

We stayed in the smallest room that was just fine for 2 people. The room had a very small kitchen area that had enough utensils for us to prepare our own simple meals. Wifi was great but tv wasn’t able to connect to anything so we used our own devices for downtime entertainment.

Room not located anywhere near the Wurzburg Schloss (castle) as seen in the photo on Expedia. Room was very neat, cleanliness was the starpoint. However, the room was tiny, kitchenette counter had no space and no microwave. Property is in Rottenbauer, 20 lm plus from Wruzburg stadt. Host was accessible and nice.

Spacious apartment with clear instructions on how to get in. Bed was really nice and bathroom as well. Not directly in wurzburg but a short ride away (public transport is also near)

It was a little dusty and didn’t feel completely ‘homey’ but for that price it was completely fine.

Stylish rooms and good facilities.

Key safe code link was removed from messages in booking.com, not sure if that is a failing of booking.com. had to call emergency call line for code.

It's clean and functional. Very quiet, except for the church bells every morning at 6. Very private area and stylish castle.

There were damaged walls and a very small kitchen, only made for a short stay, cooking wasn't the thing to do there. Only a small number of hangers and shelves for t-shirts, no closet.
