Hotel Metropolis

Hotel staffs are excellent. Rooms are beautifully designed. We booked Sapphire room but we got an upgrade to Emerald room which was so gorgeous. Thanks to reception staff for the upgrade. Breakfast spread is good. Location is very good and near to Airport. One of my favourite hotels in Mumbai.

There is no 4 star facilities

The room was big enough for a small family. The staff working between 9am and 6pm were helpful.

The night staff were not helpful. We arrived early morning around 4 even though I made reservation from previous day 3pm onwards. There was no remote for air conditioner and the staff tried to turn on the air conditioner with a remote from another room. It also didn't work. The staff mentioned that he will bring another remote and left our room. There was no response after 15 minutes and I went to reception to get the remote. The staff who agreed to bring the remote was sleeping and the receptionist as well. I had to argue with them to get a remote for the air conditioner. I had to spend around 30 minutes to get everything in order. The mini fridge was not used for quite a long time and there was foul smell inside it. I had to use it even though it was untidy. Because of the arguing on the check-in day, the staff (same as first day) didn't help me to put my luggage in the car when I checked out the hotel.

It was a very nice short stay. Comfortable bed, very spacious room, everything as described. Breakfast was also quite tasty.
