Oakes Oramel Inn

It was a cute little motel; only 5 rooms but our room was clean and (mostly) quiet. The walls are a little thin so if you want absolute privacy it might not be too your taste, but it was fine for our needs- sleep after an evening dinner/ bridal shower. There is no staff to speak of, only a check in girl that also works at the ice cream shop directly in front of the motel. And you need to look for the shop because the signage for the motel is not large and was hidden a bit behind tree branches- we must have passed it 5 times before we knew what to look for after getting some directions. We would stay there again if we are invited back to the area.

The breakfast snacks were great and unexpected… the coffee was really nice, the bed was comfortable the bathroom was clean and ok but needs some work. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The room walls became wet after the shower, need ventilation. I couldn’t get the tv to work, but it glowed through out the night!

The location was great since we were going to Letchworth State Park, 22 miles away. It was easy to find and we did not have to worry about busy city traffic or high priced motel rates.

What a wonderful little motel. Super clean, comfortable beds. Mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. They provided plenty of coffee and tea not to mention little snacks. Very personable touches for a small motel. They also have an ice cream stand, which I didn’t try, but was told it was some of the best in the area. Would stay again in a heart beat

Breakfast was not overtly served. There were waters, coffee maker and cereal, granola bars as some mini muffins. We bought foods to supplement as going on a 10 mile hike in the locale!

A room could have a larger bed and no twin., from a couple’s perspective. This could make room for a larger sitting space. However, we mainly needed a place to sleep. We had a great night rest!

Great place and family owned which is a plus in my book! I loved the stay!!

Shower was old and inoperable with tub paint peeling everywhere. Otherwise cleanliness seemed OK. Obviously not well maintained rooms. We just stayed for as little time as we could and left early in the morning. We will never stay here again.

Anscheinend gab es ein Buchungsproblem mit Booking. Trotz Bestätigung von Booking, war kein Zimmer frei, Damen an der Rezeption waren freundlich aber nicht sehr hilfsbereit. Haben sich auf Booking heraus geredet und wir mussten uns ein anderes Hotel 45min entfernt buchen. Dieses Quartier sollte aus Booking entfernt werden.
