Spacious 5 Bed House, perfect for groups, great location

It was a little further than we thought from the Conference centre. However, that was just due to our poor estimation of distance from the map.

Everything brilliant really clean

Great place for a family trip to celebrate my brother’s birthday. Bedrooms spacious and all double beds. Well equipped kitchen only 15 min car ride from the city centre and a great base for our weekend. Great communication from a friendly host.

5 bedrooms in the property which is what we required

The living room furniture was heavily stained and extremely outdated. Bathroom door didn't close. We had to move our cars within 5 minutes of arriving due to a group of people loitering around them, acting very suspiciously and taking photos of them and the number plates. The property was dirty in places and didn't feel welcoming at all. If we could have found alternative accommodation we would have left. We didn't feel safe with all the noise and large groups of people hanging about outside.

The rooms were airy, spacious and tastefully decorated. The whole house has had a makeover and is pleasant. The bedrooms have large comfortable beds and clean carpets, as well as blinds and curtains. The 2 bathrooms are ok but poorly fitted with little attention to detailing of pipework, joints, surfaces etc. The kitchen is fairly large with plenty of worktop. The house was pleasantly warm when we arrived. There are enough plates and glasses of all types, but only 5 forks! Tea, coffee, sugar etc were made available which is nice.

The owner gave us the wrong code for the key box, so we had to wait outside the house in the cold. The floor in the kitchen was sticky and not very clean. Only 4 people can eat at any time, on a counter top, as there is no dining area or table. There are 2 sofas, so when there are 7 people in the house, we have to take turns to eat and to sit! The oven belched blue fat smoke when we switched it on and we couldn't find a clean frying pan. There are such strong door closers on the bedroom doors, that the doors bang and children can't open the doors. The house is in a fairly rough area of Liverpool, so we felt that we needed to completely empty the car overnight. We would perhaps go back to this property but were shocked to have to pay about 900 euros for 2 nights.

It fitted us all in. Easy check in. Staff were immediately responsive and helpful. Basic supplies were appreciated.

Two of the beds were actually three quarters. The kitchen could have had more boards and serving dishes.
