Es ist gut und komfortabel eingerichtet. Man kann das Auto toll parken. Und es ist trotz der recht zentralen Lage sehr ruhig im Apartment. Zudem ein schönes Badezimmer und man kann die Sauna nutzen.

Der online check in ist aus meiner Sicht sehr formell. Man sieht auch keinen Host. Das habe ich in Italien schon sehr viel einfacher erlebt. Und zig Emails folgen wenn man sich nicht direkt nach der Buchung eincheckt. Nervt!

"Guter Standort, um Genua ohne Auto zu erkunden"

Sehr ruhig gelegen. Alle Ziele im Umfeld gut mit Bus, Metro und Bahn erreichbar. Einkaufen in nächster Nähe. Stellplatz gesichert vor der Tür.

wenige Kleinigkeiten, die direkt mit dem Vermieter besprochen wurden.

"Beautiful apartment in the Genova"

The apartment is beautiful. Very clean and tidy. Literally everything is at your fingertips, shops, beaches and the city center itself. It also has a mini gym and a beautiful garden for evening enjoyment. I heartily recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the city.

"Grundsätzlich tolles Appartement mit ein paar Mängel"

Schönes Appartement, bequemes Bett, viel Platz mit Terrasse, parken direkt am Grundstück

Waschbecken verstopft, Service schlecht- wir hatten Probleme mit der Tür, selbst nach Nachricht und Versuch anzurufen Null Reaktion. Schlüsselchaos, da viele Türen und viele Schlüssel, das ist sehr verwirrend.

"If you don’t want to ruin your vacation, avoid this accommodation."

I never thought I’d have to write a negative review. I’m very careful when choosing apartments and never book anything rated below 9. But this time, something just went wrong. I liked the location, and there were no other options available. On the positive side, the apartment had a lot of useful items: umbrellas, slippers, and a coffee machine.

Five days before check-in, the apartment owner informed me that the building was under renovation and surrounded by scaffolding. However, I agreed to stay as there were very few other options left. When booking, I made a mistake (or perhaps there was a system error), and booked the apartment for one adult instead of two adults and three children under 5. To pay the price difference, I contacted Booking and the apartment owner. The manager replied, “We’ll accommodate the extra people and set up a sofa bed for 20 euros.” Great, we agreed. But on the day of check-in, the manager asked when we would arrive and then, just an hour before, sent a message saying the extra charge was not 20 but 123 euros! This was an increase of 103 euros! The manager admitted to her mistake in the price, and now the owner was demanding the additional payment. It was raining heavily, so looking for another place was out of the question, and everything was, of course, quite expensive. The owner took advantage of the situation, saying we had two options: pay the 123 euros or find somewhere else. But we couldn’t cancel, as it would be considered our fault, and we wouldn’t get any money back. I insisted on keeping the original agreement, but the owner only agreed to reduce the price by 97 euros, which is still a lot for such a shabby apartment. At the same time, I contacted Booking support, who initially said they couldn’t help, but in the end, I was able to prove my case, and we were refunded the difference. For that, I’m grateful. Now, about the apartment itself. It’s a nightmare. It’s in a basement, and the windows can’t be opened due to the renovation outside. The place is damp, and if you open the kitchen cabinets, there’s a strong smell of mold. The parking situation is terrible! If you don’t have an SUV, don’t try to park there — you’ll damage the car's undercarriage and bumpers. The sofa bed is in terrible condition and smells of dampness. Much of the apartment is in need of repair.
