Lumbermens Village

Very spacious, was clean and gave a warm welcoming home feeling, check in was also fast and easy. Only requests I have for next time is curtains on the windows for more privacy, another ac unit to help keep the inside below the 80s during the day and/or window screens so when we open them we dont get bugs inside.

Arrived and missed the low-key sign for where to check in. We went to the restaurant and asked and the waitress checked us in. Our cabin-style, carpeted room was a spacious studio with queen bed, fireplace, table, sofa, kitchen sink, microwave, toaster, refrigerator and bathroom. We had a front porch with outdoor chairs and small table. It was fun watching the geese family feeding on the lawn in front. We later learned the geese are everywhere in Lakeside, so watch your step as you are likely to walk in green goose-poop. It's all over. Our room seemed clean until further inspection. Somebody's panties were wedged between the bed and side-table. Kitchen dishes and cutlery didn't look clean. Otherwise, it was okay. Probably wouldn't stay there again, though.

The cabin is cute altho older. It is obvious that they have invested some improvements; the bathroom was so cute and the kitchen was updated. The beds were comfortable. The only concern was a dripping bathtub...didn't bother us except that water usage is so important to us in AZ....it was a shame to see that constant drip. Check in at the restaurant was easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful and walked us to our cabin and explained the air conditioner. Check out was even easier. The TV is loaded with streaming services. The place could use some new pillows. But for the age of these cabins and that they have obviously been updated, and the price - it was a comfortable night's stay. Thanks so much!

I always stay here on my work trips. Cabins are clean & cozy! WiFi is great and have never had an issues here. I prefer to support the locals vs corporate entities. They have a nice little restaurant that serves great food. (Dine in or take out). Everyone is very friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of.

Second time we have stayed here. Simple clean and cozy. They have a pond and a lake is a10 min walk away. Win Win. Great trip:)

Room had one small working lightbulb outside of the bathroom. Overall dingy and rundown. Not charming at all. Not worth the money.

Staff was quick and friendly, room was clean and stocked with everything needed for the stay.
