This was my 5th time in San Cristobal and I always stay in different hotels to try and to compare. This time I made conscious choice of selecting something on a side street and away from the hustle to enjoy peace. Another reason was this is one of very few hotels in SC with AC - and the first one for me that didn’t smell of dump and mold inside! The room was spacious, bright and modern. I kept balcony door open as much as possible to breath fresh air and listen to birds singing. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The room was very clean, bedsheets and towels white and crispy clean. We had welcome fruit and drinking water in the room waiting for us. Our breakfast was included and very tasty. Service always polite, professional and available to help. I wish we stayed longer to try more of their restaurant offerings!

La propiedad tiene todo limpio y comodo pero el datalle que tuvimos de una mala comunicacion con un empleado y cuando quisimos hablar con el manejador, pues el no quiso hablar con nosotros. Asi que terminamos pagando por un tour que NO autorizamos. Todos se lavaron sin asumir responsabilidades. Y solo esa situacion me hace que no vuelva a ir a ese hotel. Otra cosita mas, ellos no atienden los lunes. No hay comida, no limpian los cuartos y nada funciona ahi. NUNCA reserven el lunes.

Our premium room was well appointed and comfortable. The host and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful, we were able to check in early in the morning as we had arrived to SC, and enjoy complimentary breakfast. Slight negatives - whilst the bed was very comfortable and had a nice light duvet, the pillows I found too bulky to sleep on. I could not work the air con /heating system, even though I tried to follow the instructions provided. All in all, very comfortable stay at Hacienda Valentino, a short walk away from all the central attractions in San Cristobal.

The property has A/C and WiFi. Apart from this, it has an amazing restaurant that closes late! Which is convenient when coming back late from tours.

We very much liked the location, the food and the room. Great kingsize bed and modern facilities. Staff and owners also very, very friendly. Ask them to book a tour or taxi the airport, it's cheaper than online and reliable. Make sure to try the sandwich/ciabatta with toppings to your liking, it is delicious. Also try the cocktail of the house, it's spicy and sweet, but also very refreshing. We would definitely stay here again. Keep up to good work and thanks!
