It was really so nasty, dirty and used sheets before by someone else. NO WIFI - NO INTERNET Bad location, it was really stressful to find the house. Please don't take this option and run away as quickly as you can to another place. This is terrifying

I paid to stay at this property once payment was taken no information no check in instructions were sent to me in chat to access the property I had to find my own alternative accommodation and the owner for Stansted Guesthouse was not willing to refund me knowing they didn’t send the check in details ahead of my arrival. Booking.com is also disgraceful for letting host trample on customers I’ve tried escalating the issue to higher department and no resolution. I still have received my refund and the owners for property don’t want to acknowledge my complaint. This purchase took place on 13/14 September 2025

Everything, bed had holes, it was dirty and staff were rude. Didnt even up staying and had to book somewhere else. I was refused a refund

We arrived at the property and it was a self check in and all was well. However our room was in a terrible state.Tye beddings looked like there weren’t washed for awhile.the bedsheet had dirty obvious marks on it which were really disgusting.we called the owner as she was in contact to give us clean beddings and resolve the problem.we sent the photos of dirty beddings to her as well.she said she was going to come shortly, we waited for 30 minutes,she didn’t turn up and she didn’t take our call or text .We eventually had to look for another place to sleep as this was impossible.

The bathroom downstairs feels a little far

No hot water, full of migrants tripping over shoes and mats whole house stinks of curry .like a building site

Had a little trouble finding the place especially in the dark as the name of the actual guest house wasnt what was on the booking confirmation. Was told there would be someone there till 10pm to assist with check in but didn't see anyone the whole weekend. Mouldy left over crusts in wardrobe and parts of strawberries and orange peel left in cupboard in room. Bathrooms were not the cleanest and the shower ran hot and cold. Also the lock on the main door was gaffa taped so you couldn't secure the entrance so it was open all the time.
