This was such a great experience! The hotel was nice and quiet and VERY secure. Staff was amazing always greeting us with a smile. There are so many walkable restaurants and coffee shops near by and the staff was able to point us in the right direction when it came to finding food in the area. Love love love this place. Would recommend if you’re not trying to be in the middle of the city.

Our experience at Casa Cleo was mixed, with positive and negative aspects that made for an average stay. One significant issue we encountered was a late checkout fee that was unfairly applied during our first visit. We had been given permission to check out slightly later, but we were charged a fee afterwards without any prior warning. This left us feeling dissatisfied, as it seemed to be an unfair charge. When we returned to the hotel for our second stay, we addressed the issue directly with the front office staff member who had applied the charge. Unfortunately, she was defensive and unapologetic, adding to our frustration. It wasn’t until we insisted on speaking with the manager that she finally apologized. We then met with the manager, who acknowledged that she was aware of the issue but had not taken the initiative to contact us. It was disappointing that we, as guests, were responsible for addressing the situation. However, the manager did agree to refund the late checkout fee, which we appreciated. She explained that the front office staff member was new, undergoing training and reacted without fully considering the customer experience. While the hotel itself has a lot of potential with its comfortable rooms and good location in Mexico City, our experience with the staff’s handling of this issue left us with mixed feelings. There were also communication issues surrounding the availability and charges for filtered drinking water. Better communication and training seem to be needed to ensure that guest concerns are handled with the care and attention they deserve. In summary, Casa Cleo has strengths, but there are areas for improvement, particularly in how staff handle guest interactions. If you choose to stay here, it might be worth clarifying any special requests or policies in advance to avoid any misunderstandings. With better customer service, Casa Cleo could become a more enjoyable place to stay. For now, we’d rate our experience as average, with room for improvement.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Cleo! The staff was kind and helpful. We definitely recommend Casa Cleo for its location and hospitality.

Casa Cleo exceeded our expectations. Everything was exactly as pictured. The entire facility was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The environment was calm and quiet. The room included lots of convenient amenities - ample towels, lighted closets with hangers, drawers, plenty of hooks for towels/bags/coats, kitchen supplies (even food storage containers), shower toiletries, beautiful patio, comfortable seating inside and out, heated floors, two thermostats, darkening drapes, and even a record player with a few enjoyable albums. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always greeting us at the entry gate when we arrived (hi, Victor!). A simple, but nice breakfast was available on the roof terrace. The neighborhood is lush and beautiful, and there are bottomless restaurants within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Casa Cleo and/or other Viadora properties.

Fantastic property, with an amazing staff. Every time we left or arrived the doorman greeted us or asked if we needed any assistance. The rooms were clean, spacious and beautiful. The room also included a kitchenette and fridge which was nice. Highly recommend!
