*Second class customer quality and customer service* I recently stayed at this hotel with my friend to celebrate a milestone birthday where we intended to stay 5 nights. It was one of the worst experiences in my travels. When we first checked-in, there was significant back-and-forth, as another couple *just decided* they would not check out of the room assigned to my friend and I. After staying one night in a different room, we were rudely informed that we needed to move a second time to accommodate this other couple. Apparently, the couple changed their minds and wanted the room we were staying in. We refused to move rooms again, stating we would either stay in our room or leave with a full refund for the remaining nights. Shockingly, without any hesitation, the hotel chose to kick us out, clearly valuing the other customer far more than us. To add insult to injury, not only did they force us to leave, but the team lacked basic knowledge about how to conduct a refund despite working directly with an accountant. This level of disrespect, incompetence, and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel because you could be given the second class customer service treatment. We ended up spending just a little more money and stayed at a place that was significantly nicer, providing more value per dollar. Blue Roatan has no regard for customer service or loyalty. Stay anywhere else if you want to be treated with basic decency.

Very nice

No communication with regards to the facilities. Want breakfast? Guess where it is. Want to use the shared kitchen and dining room? What? It exists? Want to use the pool? We have a pool? There is a shared BBQ? Basically, here is your room, play where's Waldo for whats included. Beautiful accomodations though.

Great staff, overall very clean. Just the inside of the bedroom AC needs maintenance and ceiling fan we had to keep off it was full of dirt, seems it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Bathroom towels had stains in them. Quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature did it for us.

The resort presents well. The staff was attentive, polite and helpful. The property is not beach front and the tuc tuc ride was available with a minor wait and the road to the beach club. Although there were a few hills, the road to the beach club was walkable. Be warned that from time to time, the electricity may go off but the resort has a backup generator. My wife and I enjoyed the Chef’s menu dinner at the Azul on top of the hill and we had a marvelous time. The Chef and staff were phenomenal. Also be aware of taxes and service charge which are added to your bill. ~43% on top.

Beautiful place for relaxation, surrounding are amazing. Eco friendly excellent location for a getaway. The trees around this place makes a perfect oasis .

The service from the staff was excellent. -- especially in the restaurant. Carlos, our breakfast server each day provided exactly the kind of service you want from a property like this.

Great staff and Azul restaurant was quite good. Rooms and grounds wete well maintained. Very quiet compared to West Bay and West End, but still walkable along beach to West Bay. We liked the quiet though and had three very good restaurants to choose from and all walkable from our room.

Beautiful, tranquil hotel, 5 minutes walk to beach they are still working on their beach club that is supposed to be open soon. Breakfast is included with room rate and it is very good it includes coffee, fruit and main entree/ eggs. Rooms are spacious with beautiful views of the jungle and or the ocean. Employees are professional and go out of their way to make stay pleasant. Thank you for wonderful hospitality.
