Plumsteadville Inn

rusty bathroom heater with parts falling off and hole on the wall. no electric sockets in bathroom or by bed. noisy air-conditioning. tv not working. fridge warm.

Fun spot with restaurant and bar. Food was excellent. Lobster fest was lively.

Friendly staff, clean but difficult for seniors. No elevator and lots of stairs. No staff on duty til 11:00 week days and no restaurant service til lunch. Need to go off site for breakfast except for a Sunday buffet. Evening restaurant is open and food was good. Upon leaving Monday, took bags to car around 8 in morning and got locked out of building. Luckily my wife was still in room and came down to open door so we could finish loading. Was concerned what I would have done if she wasn’t. No staff around. Overall a historical experience and a beautiful place. Landscape is picturesque and unique.

It's very charming. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner (a little mold on the grout) but overall is definitely a nice experience.

This is at least our third stay at the Plumsteadville Inn. We encountered a problem with the shower, water was either freezing cold or boiling hot. They tried adjusting it, but problem still existed. Fortunately for us, another family member was staying at the Inn, so we used her shower. The manager, Jason, was very helpful and refunded one night of out 2 night stay. Also, the food at the inn was very good with excellent staff.

The SHOWER IS TERRIBLE, constant water temperature fluctuations. Not good at all.. disappointing. The room is comfortable and cool for extremely hot temperatures outside.

First off the history of the inn is very cool! I loved how old it was and the outside set up! So beautiful. I love the price but not sure if i would stay again. It was very very noisy. You could hear the staff downstairs and the guest that were dinning in all night! You could also smell the dirty grease at the end of the night. I didn't like that the door to our room had a giant gap underneath and also had a vent in the wall that went straight to hall. Definitely no privacy at all as you could hear everything and everyone in the rooms and hall way. It did have a tv but cable was out the whole stay. Definitely bring your own soap and shampoo because the stuff they put in room was awful. I really did like the staff member that walked us to our room and i really did like the outside seating for the dinning. I really wanted to love this place because it is close to each of the towns that have things to do. But this town itself had nothing.

We had a very nice room - King Bed. The staff was very pleasant. The restaurant was very nice with a great selection and delicious food. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff gave us a coupon for a small restaurant up the street for breakfast. One of the best breakfasts I've had out... fresh!

The restaurant and food was amazing! The accommodations were nice, but room could use a full length mirror, hook for towels and table in bathroom. Very clean and staff was super helpful, cheerful, and friendly!

This place was fantastic. Staff was very welcoming when we checked in. We were escorted to our rooms and given a history lesson about the place on the way. I'm not a bar guy but they have an excellent one. Food was great. We were there on a Wednesday night and the place was packed for trivia night. Even with all the people down at the bar you could not hear any of that noise in your room. Highly recommend this place for a great stay thats not a chain hotel.
