I cannot praise the owners highly enough. Rather than call us a taxi in order to travel to a restaurant which was over 5 miles away, the owner gave us a lift in his own car. When we returned the bar was relatively full and everyone extremely friendly. It might be said that the owners are not responsible for their clientele, but it seemed to us that the nature of the place - how it is run - probably results in attracting to it the kind of people it was a pleasure to meet - albeit only for an hour or so. P.S. The cooked breakfast was just right.

The room was fantastic. Lovely and spacious. A very nice bathroom and shower. Easy access for entering after pub operating hours. The breakfast was delicious with plenty on offer

"Two night stay in Wincanton"

Centrally placed pub in the town. Parking opposite. Modern room with a good shower. Good breakfasts that were not rushed. Very helpful welcoming staff.
