Staff are so helpful. Food is excellent. Accommodation is in a peaceful location in sheltered beer garden. Spacious room with large bathroom. Central to the town, easy walking to most places. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely, modern room in characterful pub

The landlord and his wife are lovely people and really helpful, carrying bags in for us from the car for example. The evening meal was really nice. I had a chicken curry that far exceeded my expectations and the scrambled egg for breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel (hate to say it but as good if not better than my own). The room we stayed in was well set up, spacious and very comfortable. Lovely bathroom.

Very comfortable in the rooms food was amazing but remember iit is a country pub there is no garden view but it's nice wee beer garden ...a little suntrap

The beers and selection weren't my type but that's just me ....car parking is adequate but there's always space
