Taru Villas Maia - Habarana

Staff were very friendly and attentive, location is stunning, the rooms are lovely and spacious and the hotel helped us to organise our trips to Sigiriya, Dambulla Temple Caves and the Elephant Safari, all of which were amazing, especially the safari - our guide Abtulla was extremely knowledgeable.

Todo! Es el mejor hotel de 5 estrellas que he estado. Desde la arquitectura del hotel hasta la atención. Es precioso.

Que no hubiera un gimnasio aunque fuera pequeño.

Hotel muy escondido en la carretera principal,pero increíble. Desde el exterior, no puedes hacerte una idea de lo que vas a encontrar dentro. El paisaje,el personal,la comida,la habitación, la piscina... No podrían haber sido mejores. Sin duda el mejor hotel de los que estuvimos en Sri Lanka ( y estuvimos en 10 ). Especial mención al gerente Dileesha que nos trató como si estuviéramos en casa, y a su chef Pradeep Niroshan qué nos hizo una cena exquisita e inolvidable. Pertenece a The Small leading hotels of the world, se respira paz , y las vistas desde la piscina y la terraza de la habitación, los estanques con peces de colores... maravillosos.

Me hubiese gustado estar una semana.

Nestled amongst nature lies the hidden sanctuary of Taru Villas Maia. Offering peace and tranquility, we all finally relaxed after a week of tours, frenetic travel and daily jaunts. The rooms have been carefully designed to allow for an immersion natural experience with the only sound being that of the wildlife and the rustle of leaves and trees in the cool air. An architectural delight complimented by the most hospitable team who take care of yourself every need. Delicious organic cuisine, thoughtfully prepared with daily curated delicious menus. Dileesha, Andrew Danial, Tharusha, Chef Pradip and Mahendra made us feel at home. Our only regret- why didn't we stay longer? You simply must stay here, perfectly placed for a sunrise hike to Sigiriya and an afternoon elephant safari. Truly memorable, thank you team Taru Villas Maia.

Fabulous boutique property. The staff were really great - helpful and friendly. Recommended for a trip to
