An absolutely beautiful hotel that feels private, but not remote or too isolated.

A small luxury hotel of the world, this accomodation is nestled in nature - we loved seeing monkeys frolicking in the trees whilst we had our tea in bed in the morning (luxury loose leaf tea!). The shower in the room was one of the best we’ve ever had in a hotel! Relaxing bath too! Lovely pool area overlooking greenery and delicious food at the restaurant which even included palate cleansers at dinner. The staff were also there to guide you in the evenings to the restaurant and back which was such a nice touch (especially being in nature and we’d seen a few snakes about!). They also helped us book our elephant safari and we had a magical time - the driver expertly navigated the park and took us to spots with no other jeeps around.

One thing we thought was a bit shocking is that they didn’t sell any wines by the glass - you had to buy a bottle! There were no other alcoholic beverages sold by the glass other than beer. With such a luxury place you’d expect a gym but they didn’t appear to have one. We loved sitting by the pool but it would have been nice for the staff to come round occasionally to ask if we wanted a drink (we had to get up and go and find someone when we wanted a Coke etc). All quite nitpicky and overall we would definitely recommend Taru Villas!

We had the most amazing stay at the Taru Villas. Wonderful room and overall architecture, excellent food, first class service and staff. What an experience!

Beautiful property. We stayed in a premium villa which was very spacious and nicely decorated. The food is delicious. Staff were all great!

ミネリヤサファリまで車で6分。まるでサファリのゴージャスなバンガローに宿泊した気分。クジャクの鳴き声が響き、自然に囲まれたプールも楽しめた。しかも、2食つき。本格的なフレンチでした。スタッフはみんな笑顔で挨拶してくれて、最高の休日でした。

Marvellous service. The staff really worked together . The only thing is ( as for whole of Sri Lanka ) the food has little or no spicy taste. We hav been surprised because we thought the influence from India would be greate.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The rooms enormous, spectacular in design and spotless. Beautiful pool and lovely restaurant with delightful staff. A quiet place for relaxation and luxury.

Internet was very weak. On the first day there was no hot water on the bathroom.
