The Lutsen Sea Villas are directly on Lake Superior with beautiful views of the lake and amenities for staying cozy (we had a wood fireplace). There are short hiking trails directly on site for easy walks, and accessible to lots of Northern Minnesota outdoor recreation. We loved the hot tub and pool for adults and kids alike.

The splash pad area is not so much of a splash pad but more so a water feature. It's very loud with heavy downpour of water, and not very appropriate for very little ones. We came with a baby and a four year old and had hoped for a more accessible splash pad.
