Very neat old architecture but needs some maintenance.

Parking was atrocious, having to leave your vehicle on the street until valet parking could get it part several hours later along with the homeless people sleeping in Corners next to the building was not a great feel. Security guard at the property did nothing more than sit on a stool and play on his electronic device. $55 to valet park and there was only one parking attendant. And left vehicle out on the street for 6 Plus hours before taking it to parking garage.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. We were able to walk to the Arch and Busch Stadium from the hotel. The breakfast buffet offered lots of choice and included hot foods. The staff was friendly and helpful, too.

The parking fee for valet parking was steep at $55 per night. The valet was not able to drive our manual transmission vehicle, so we had to park it ourselves. Under the circumstances, the staff was able to offer a small refund on the fee.

Old historic building was cool.

No parking available . People sleeping on the sidewalk outside of the building. Unattended front desk much of the time. Rooms lacked some basic amenities.

My room had a view of the city through very tall windows

There was a sloppiness about many things in the hotel. Some examples: the metal cover of the blinds was standing vertically against the bathroom wall. In 7 nights, my towels got changed twice and my bed was made once. My room smelt peculiar and there often were odors in the corridors and the elevator. The tables in the lobby were infrequently cleaned and the glasses refilled so the tables were dirty and you had to get a coffee cup to pour juice in.

Location to Enterprise Center was good

Street closed next to it and had zero notification that you’d need to park in the street and valet if you wanted to park there. Check in took over 30 mins (not really even a long line; it was just chaos) and our shower didn’t work because someone had broke the handle.
