Luna Cottage - Ocean Views on Waiheke

Lage ist hervorragend - Blick auf die Bucht, wunderbar. Ruhig gelegen, keine direkten Nachbarn, nachts absolut still. Zudem hervorragend ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspühler, eine Waschmaschine inkl. Waschmittel etc. Surfdale ist schlecht vom Kennedy Point aus erreichbar - dort fährt nur stündlich 1 Bus. Besser zum "Hauptort" Matiatia fahren, ab da fahren alle 10 Min. Busse via Surfdale (Haltestelle "Tetley Road"). Funktioniert wie meist über Tap on/Top off absolut problemlos. Und bloss nicht auf Uber verlassen wollen ... es gibt kein Uber auf der Insel! Die App hat uns zwar einen Reservation gesandt und einen Fahrer bestätigt, kurz davor aber storniert. Also einfach auf den Busservice auf der Insel verlassen.

TV hat am ersten Abend funktioniert, danach ging nichts mehr. Aber egal, so lag der Fokus mal auf anderem. Vorsicht zum Zugang zur Unterkunft - sehr steile Strasse und zuletzt muss Gepäck über Stufen und Muschel-Kies getragen werden.

So beautiful - the photos don’t do it justice. Everything is so modern and clean. Bed was very comfy and the aircon was good. We also really liked the shower. Close proximity to bus stop for getting easily into town / ferry terminal. Honestly a perfect stay here.

Nothing - it was perfect.

Location was perfect for our needs for the weekend, we had 3 functions so it was right in the middle of them. Also an easy walk to Oneroa for morning coffee and a swim. The bowls club at the bottom of the street was a bonus!

The only thing was we couldn't find any pegs for the clothes line, ok for us over the weekend as it wasn't windy.

Absolutely loved the house so clean and modern and the view was amazing!! The hosts went above and beyond for me by setting up a bottle of bubbles and balloons for my boyfriend’s birthday - it exceeded my expectations!! Thank you so much :)

A full length mirror would be a good addition :)

This is an amazing place to stay. It’s a totally charming, well-appointed, very clean and comfortable cottage in a quiet neighborhood with a stunning view of the ocean. It’s also totally convenient to the beach and a local grocery store as well as the local bus. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!
