Golden Sands Carolina Beach Oceanfront, Tapestry by Hilton

This is our second time here in a few months and each time we have been thoroughly impressed. The staff are incredible and make the check in process very easy. The hotel is located in the perfect location for those wanting to enjoy the beach and you can even walk (a little over half a mile) to the bars and restaurants.

The price was a bit steep, but it is a beach town with limited hotels so I guess they are able to get away with it.

Receptionist was friendly upon arrival.

The rooms were not cleaned. When asked for cleaned linens due to insects bites on arm in foot.

The property has a great location. The rooms are spacious enough for family’s. The staff (everyone) was nice and helpful.

Very clean room, cool design, wonderfully nice and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Amazing location and view. Fun lawn games. More than one pool.

The balcony was a little narrow and flooded with the condensation from the A/C unit. Also, the nice pool/hot tub was under construction, and the outdoor shower was broken.

Location was great, located on the beach is always a plus. Rooms and facility were clean. There was never enough clean pool towels available. The parking was a struggle to find next to the hotel so we had to park across the street, making it uncomfortable to get our stuff in and out of the car when needed. There is a restaurant and a bar on the pier making it great for eating in. Note the pier was not a full peir, seems it was damaged during a storm or such. The hotel was priced on the higher end and did not quite meet a 100% rating. But, overall, it was great and we will be back again. ( They are also renovating at the moment) so not all of the amenities are available at each building.
