Rio Motel and Suites Wildwood Beach & Boardwalk

The safety latch on the outside door was broken. The outside door knob was loose. There was no phone, and the motel office was on the next block in a different motel - so if you had a problem and no cell phone, you had to run to the next block and hope someone was there to help. There were holes in the bed sheet. There were no wash cloths. There was no lamp on the nightstand by the bed. The walls are thin- you could hear people in the next room. I spoke to the person in the office when checking out - she basically didn’t get it - asked if I had any problems. If she wants good reviews and return customers, they need to address the problems.

Paper thin walls, absolutely no TV channels, bath towels that leave a trail of fuzz on your body, no coffee maker as advertised, and no staff available for over an hour when trying to check out. Find another place to stay.

The location was great for an overnight stay.

There was not a great description in directions from the hotel on where to pick up/drop off keys. We had no room number on our door and people who were also staying on the property were also confused about check in and kept knocking on our door. They were super accommodating to us checking in early which was awesome being that we have 3 little kids but besides that it wasn’t too great. Although not summer yet, it was warm enough to go to the beach and their outdoor shower was being used for storage so no where for us to rinse our feet off after. The TVs didn’t work. They didn’t even have a roll of paper towels for us to use in the kitchen. It got a little cold at night and there was no heat which I thought I remembered reading that there was. The toilet was also leaking water.

Staff was very nice and room was very spacious and private

The overall quality of the room and property as well as the amenities that came with the rooms functionality and cleanliness. Some things were dirty and unkept, none of the cable worked for any of the 3 tv's in the room, things in the room were done poorly almost as if a inexperienced contractor finished them . I felt that I overpaid for the room as I paid about $240 for 1 night for a 2 bedroom with 2 queens and we received a 2 bedroom with one queen and one full and talking with other customers they paid less then $100 for a one night stay the same night with the same issues we had with the property Again the staff and booking experience were great I just think they should put some TLC into the place if they want to charge that kind of money. We also stayed in April during the off season sooooo things may have been neglected a little but either way it is their responsibility as a buisness to fine comb their investment

When we got there to check in no one was in office. When we called we were told that the place we booked was under construction so we had to drive up the block to monaco motel. None of this was under the listing. When we got there there was a problem with the reader and i had to send them a picture of my id. Staff was very nice no attitude or anything from them however, when we got in our room and went into the bathroom we found that our window had a broken screen and was open. Someone could’ve peeked in but we were lucky enough to not have that problem. The spot in the wall where the air conditioner was had a space between the two as well as the what i assume used to be a window above the room door. On their website the office is said to be open 24 hours and that there was a free ice machine and room service. No one was there in the morning, the ice machine was broken, and within our 2 day stay our trash was over filled. The stay wasn’t horrible and the beds were spacious and comfortable. good amount of space. Terrible microwave. All and all not the best but not the worst and it wasn’t dirty.

This hotel is middle of everything to do in Wildwoods. Just in front of beach, boardwalk near to convention center. And the best part is i was able to see the ocean from my room. It's better a small hotel with spacious rooms and excellent view between wildwood and wildwood crest.

It was fabulous stay with Rio Motel & Suites. Nice location, Cleanest Property, Amazing View from the room. It's beyond my expectation. Definitely book it for my summer vacation with out looking anywhere else.
