Awesome Location

Great location for both walking and public transportation. Beautiful onsen, gorgeous rooftop, delicious bento breakfast available, excellent staff. I spent ten nights here and loved every minute.

Top notch hotel in a great part of Kyoto. The rooms are impeccably clean and luxurious. The rooftop terrace provides a beautiful view of the city and the onsen is beyond relaxing. Highly recommend!

Absolutely worth every penny! The private onsen and the public foot bath exceeded all my expectations. Makoda (I hope I got her name right—if not, my apologies) treated my wife and me like royalty. The customer service was truly exceptional.

I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. From the welcome drinks on the rooftop bar with a foot bath after a long day walking around Kyoto, to the exceptional staff, this was a great choice. After we left the hotel and were on our way back to Tokyo, we realized we had left our valuables in the room’s safe. The hotel contacted us and were able to overnight our things to us in Tokyo, for which we are very grateful! Great location and centrally located.

Staff, location, and amenities was amazing!!! Definitely recommend.

The rooms were a little small and squishy when you have two large suitcases to open. But the facilities, the cleanliness, the staff and the standard of decor were outstanding!

Absolutely loved this hotel! Room was clean and cozy. The rooftop was amazing for sunrise and at night. The onsen is bliss!
