Steelhead Lodge

This hotel is steps away from the Salmon River, and is located in a beautiful setting with hills all around. The room was very spacious, and while the decor was simple, it was very well done. Please know, there is not an on site restaurant, however they have everything you need if you want to bring something to grill (they have propane and charcoal grills available) or something to cook in the community kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped, with a frig, stovetop and oven, and a microwave. We were very impressed with it. It's just a gorgeous setting!

Nothing could have been better. The room was clean. Check in and out, no problem. We would stay here again!

This is the new steelhead Lodge. The owners have completely updated and made this place a wonderful yet overlooked destination on the Salmon river.

Doug was amazing! He will be missed I am sure. Room 2 with a balcony has been updated and beautiful. Very comfortable! If you are looking for a hotel to come and netflix and chill, this is not the place! Internet is slow speed so does not have great band width. It does have a Smart TV to hook up to your laptop but again the buffering is a drag. Do you want a place to enjoy the outdoors on the Salmon River right out the door? Do you want to enjoy a nice outdoor BBQ with your family and play games or sit by a fire and chat? This is your place. Yes its right off a busy highway and you are in a little valley so there is a echo of the big rigs coming through. But It did not keep us awake and the view was worth it. It is 14 Miles ish to Riggins or White bird where there is dining and small shops. Riggins has a few thrift stores and a small grocery store. If you want to unplug and just take in the fresh air in a cozy cabin feel Steelhead Inn is the place. This place also has a very cute kitchen for all to use with everything you need including a big family kitchen table to sit and play cards and eat a meal. It does not have a big breakfast, but they do provide coffee in the rooms with Keurig or in the Kitchen you can make a big pot or 2 and they provide the supplies. They do put out packages of instant oatmeal and some granola bars complimentary! Thank u Steelhead Inn

This is an older property that has been completely redone. It is really cute and comfortable!
