The view is amazing. The front desk person was extremely nice. So helpful. Let us check in way early. Love the balcony and the view.

The river views were beautiful

Beautiful location with stunning views from the property and the rooms. The landscaping was nicely maintained. I liked being able to use the kitchen and bar b que to prepare food we had purchased at the supermarket in Riggins on the way in.

The property is immediately adjacent to the highway, with attendant road noise (less so overnight as traffic abates). While the property is dog-friendly, it is open to the highway (driveway gate), and would be unsafe to allow a dog to go off leash here (although the owners apparently have a wireless electric fence to keep their pets within the property.) Access to the river is pretty limited. Most of the beach is a field of large, hard-edged rocks. I'm comfortable walking around rocks, but these are sharp-edged and foreboding and seemingly everywhere. No real good place for swimming or tossing a ball into the water for the pup. Would have been nice after the long drive in from Boise. Also, I thought the room in person was a bit more rustic and spartan than it appeared in the photos. Still nice and clean and comfortable, and again, that view is beautiful.

Great little place. We had some terrible issues with Expedia I won’t get into (other than to say I’m DONE with this service forever), but the lovely couple who were inn keepers bent over backwards to accommodate us. It’s a very nice place. Best in the area for taking off or arriving on Salmon River whitewater trips,

What a beautiful clean comfortable place to stay. Owners were friendly rooms were very clean. Loved the quiet if this place would highly recommend this for a relaxing stay.
