Steelhead Lodge

We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the lodge! The bed was comfortable and the view from our patio was amazing. In the evening, we sat in the covered picnic area near the river watching deer and wild turkeys coming in for a drink of water. There is a walking path to the river if someone wanted to fish or hike around.

This is a small lodge (9 rooms) on the banks of the Salmon River. All of the rooms have a river view. They’ve also been very tastefully renovated. I didn’t expect it to be as nice as it was. Needless to say, I was very pleased.

This was a great property not over the top but very nice and clean. I don’t feel comfortable in places that pretend to be exclusive only catering to high dollar clients. The Steelhead Lodge fit me like a glove. It is right on the river with all the wildlife that live there so you always have something to see. Thanks Tara and Jake for making our stay so much fun.

The highway is a little bit noisy but it wasn’t that bad.

We liked everything. The stay at Steelhead Lodge couldn't have been more perfect. The facility, the people, and the weather were all awesome! Highly recommend!

Very relaxing and peaceful. We would stay there again.

The view from the porch of my room was stunning! Wildlife early in the morning! The gazebo and yard games! The hosts were fantastic and friendly.

The shower didn't look like it was water tight. There may be water getting in the walls.
