Xeliter Green One Playa Dorada

This was a great choice for me and my family. This property is a private, exclusive golf club which makes it very safe. There are multiple check points to pass through and security guards patrolling the area at night. You will need transportation to get to the nearest town to do some exploring, restaurants and excursions but that was ok with me. I did not want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Sosua or Cabarete. You can always get a cab if you don’t have a car. We arrived three hours before check in and Esther, who greeted us. got us all beach towels and drove us to the beach which was about a 3-4 minute golf cart drive. We could have walked as well. Esther was very helpful and friendly. We asked for recommendations to and ATV and catamaran excursion company and we were given the contact information of a great source. We had a great time. The room is surprisingly very well equipped with everything you need. A full sized fridge, a stove, cooking utensils, cleaning supplies and the best of all, a washer and dryer which came in handy after our ATV excursion. Room was very clean. The property has several good restaurants too.

At arrival, the apt smelled like bleach, it was a bit too strong, and it seemed that it was closed for a while, we had to vent the space for at least an hour.

There was no breakfast , Restaurants rarely open Pool was great as nobody at the resort and we literally had the pool to ourselves

Resort basically empty. The room we booked show a balcony but they couldn’t give one Restaurants sporadically open with a limited menu.we had to leave the resort and walk to find open restaurants either at the beach or in town This development is not set up for guests . They are focused on building. I would not recommend this property and suggested you discontinue offering it until they get their act together I looks lovely but not functional

It is nice clean apartment. You will definitely need a rental car or at golf cart because everything is far. Definitely not walkable to any restaurant. Most restaurants is good but pricey

We come to Puerto Plata every year. We have stayed at many other properties before and this rental was AMAZING! We will now be coming back here yearly for the lengths of our stays. It has brand new beds, pillows, AC, very clean kitchenette with ikea dishes & cutlery and the bathrooms are so nice, and with hot water! There was a patio off our suite where we had coffee every morning & would walk to the beach to sit in the sun. The beach is the nicest on the strip. We have been to Marien, Iberostar, Gran Ventana and one other along the strip and Xeliter Golf One was the nicest we have been on. Very clean, the water blue with no trash or sea grass. The staff understand english well which helps with communication during your stay. The insuite laundry was a bonus as well! Brand new washer and dryer which isnt common in puerto plata. I highly recommend this place for all of your accommodations, it truly was the best we have had. My spouse is also from Puerto Plata & he agrees!
