Stunning 2 bed apartment, in the heart of Exeter!

It wasn’t clean. Behind the kids bed were personal items stuffed away and the mattress was just put on a triplex piece of wood. Carpet in living room was dirty of previous stay.

The property is carefully decorated to a certain taste inside. It was relatively clean. The owner / called me to assist me in accessing the property on arrival. That was very helpful as it was not straightforward.

The words 'do not say the key code out loud' appeared in the instructions. That seemed odd until I arrived. The property is situation in a very run down / sketchy area. I was accosted by two Class A drug addicts on arrival (I work in the Ciminal Justice System so I know what a Class A drug addict looks like). Once I had got into the property I noticed that all of the blinds were down and they had to remain down so that the local Class A drug users could not see into the property and there were many of them about. This property was quite expensive but owing to graduation there were no other options in the centre of the city. This property would be highly unsuitable for a female travelling on her own. I do feel a little sorry for the owner who has put a lot of effort into decorating the interior of the property. But I cannot in conscience recommend it as a place to stay. I seldom if ever post negative reviews but I feel there are basic security issues in play at this address so feel compelled to say something. Book early and book elsewhere. Sorry.

Location was perfect, all facilities provided and very comfy beds.

Lovely modern apartment. Great location.

Not having private parking. Having to pay per day at nearby car park. Not major but no hand soap or hand/small towels. This could have been an oversight. Our room at the back was quiet but the front is quite noisy.

Nothing - it wax the definition of competent incompetence from the start - couldn’t get in, called property manager who was in the states, nearest key 30 mins away - spends over an hour sending random numbers to get his keybox to work … owner calls. ‘Nice but not much use, and there we are 4 people two dogs on a Friday night at 1800 in Exeter with nowhere to stay

Location was good

Cleanliness - the dust was horrendous to the point of being a health hazard! Dirty so left after a night rather than staying the week as planned.
