Hotel Bulabard

A perfect place to be. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Perfect restaurant right by the beach side. For a solo trip, this place is so ideal.

Hotel Bulabard is a fantastic budget-friendly hotel when you're in Nadi. Wailoaloa Road is a bustling street with several hotels with a similar price range and atmosphere. You can walk the beach and notice beach side restaurants and bars. At night, you'll hear live music witha lively audience. The most convenient part was the big grocery store, TrueMart that's a 2 minute walk away from the hotel!

Nice place to be able to drip toes in the ocean and enjoy delicious cocktails. Great fire show on Thursday night. Only downside is the bed is placed under the security and internet lights - for the second night I brought a sleep mask and slept much better. Can't fault the very friendly and helpful staff and the coffee was pretty good

Our experience was terrible. Hotel Bulabard describes itself as a luxury resort but it is far from it. We did not get the rooms we booked and were sent initially to other accommodation off site. When we complained, we were moved back to the resort. We did not get the beach view room we requested and paid for. Our adult sons room had cockroaches crawling out of the sink. Water came dribbling out of the shower head and the rooms were noisy from the adjoining hotels kitchen next door. Our rooms were never serviced and requests for clean towels were ignored. The second rooms ceiling fan in the bedroom did not work nor did the extractor fan in the bathroom. The staff at reception were not helpful and seemed disinterested. Generally the food was poor and we ended up eating at thee other hotels along the beach and the Olive Tree down the road. The exception was the morning cook who made breakfast on our last day - it was amazing. The bar staff were friendly and made good iced coffees. The only redeeming features of this hotel was that the air-conditioning worked very well and the views from the outdoor eating area to the sea and beach were beautiful. Even so, we would never stay here again. The beach was littered with rubbish which included car doors, broken glass bottles, plastic bottles etc. Be warned, the photos and the reality are very different. If you book a 1,2 or 3 bedroom apartment be aware that these are not at the resort, - but it doesn't say this on their website.

We would not recommend this property. It is not a luxury resort and not like the photos. We stayed for a week and if we could have cancelled after the first night and moved else where we would have. Their website doesn't say that their 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments are offsite away from the main resort. We had booked a deluxe room with beach view and a one bedroom apartment thinking they were both at the same site. Would never have booked the 1 bedroom apartment if we knew it was off site. We waited 50 minutes on arrival to be told that we had been 'upgraded' to a 2 bedroom apartment which we didn't want and were driven a few minutes down the road to it. It wasn't beach front. It had a small pool but the internet didn't work. There was only crockery and cutlery for one person. We walked back to the main hotel to say we weren't happy as we weren't getting what we paid for. We were told it would be sorted that night but it wasn't. The next morning we returned to the resort to say we wanted two rooms at the resort and refused to stay where they had put us. We were allocated two separate studio rooms later that day. Our adult son's room had cockroaches crawling out of the sink and the shower had no pressure and came out in a dribble. Neither room was cleaned the whole time we were there. Several requests for clean towels were ignored. The rooms were very noisy, and you could hear the kitchen staff from the hotel next door doing their dishes.
