1 Keepers Cottage Skeabost Bridge Isle Of Skye

The home is a lovely traditional Isle of Skye cottage, with some traditional features that are quaint and pretty such as the old kitchen oven.

Bathroom: The shower is full of mold and it is very unpleasant. I would not like to have children here as it is quite unhealthy. The toilet flush is very poor, often requiring a second flush a few minutes later, and the seat on a quite dangerous angle. Also a reason I would not want children here. The fan doesn’t work in the bathroom, likely adding to the mold and damp issue. Heating: It does not come on at the times specified, and takes a very long time to warm up. Similarly in the evening, it does come on early enough. The override doesn’t make it come on early either. Lucky there was an electric heater in the living room. Mattress: The queen mattress is very uncomfortable, verging on painful. It has no padding, and you can feel the springs. I was also freezing cold sleeping on this mattress. I had to move to the single bed and had a much more comfortable night sleep. Perfume sticks: There were perfume sticks all through the house that was too much. Just a note to consider some people who are sensitive to these strong scents. For such a large amount of money charged you would not expect the bathroom to be in such a bad condition. It was very disappointing.

Love everything about it. Nice view around. Cozy and nicely decorated.

Nothing I disliked. People with heavy luggages (like us) may just want t put their luggages downstairs.

Loved this property! So cosy and cute, amazing kitchen with plenty of room for 3 of us to cook and hang out. Living room was warm and great sofas. Host was so kind to come to help us find the TV remote that was hidden in the sofa and brought us some extra lights in case the storm cut the power (which it didn't thankfully)

Tout était parfait. L’accueil d’Adams et sa disponibilité, le confort de la maison et l’attention donnée aux détails, la propreté du lieu, le confort des chambres. La douche est très agréable. Tout est là dans un petit espace et la cuisine et une des mieux outillée et des plus propre que je n’ai jamais vu.

Il n’y a rien que je n’ai pas aimé. Néanmoins nous étions 4 un couple et deux amies. Deux chambres peut être un peu serré pour plusieurs jours. Néanmoins pour trois nuits c’était parfait.
