1 Keepers Cottage Skeabost Bridge Isle Of Skye

It was a self catering cottage.It was well appointed and stocked with everything we could want.Comfortable and well presented.

The cottage is simply beautiful, and we felt welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, the shower was powerful, and I absolutely loved the kitchen, which was full of very good quality utensils (not that common to find sharp knives, and an espresso coffee machine in full working order!). Shout out to those wonderful couches in the living room, perfect for power naps! There is some parking space at the cottage, which was convenient. We enjoyed the peaceful and quiet location, close to Loch Snizort. The silence we found allowed us to relax as best as we could have. The location is also perfect to drive around Skye and see the best places in a reasonable amount of time: Portree is 10min away, The Quiraing and The Storr around 30-40min, Dunvegan Castle 20min, Talisker Distillery 40min... so good! We spent 5 days at the cottage, but sometimes we felt like we could have stayed there forever.

The tiles around the shower need some descaling, but that's REALLY the only thing I could point out.

Posizione ottima per visitare tutta skye in auto, appartamento fornitissimo di tutto, ma proprio tutto dal sale zucchero caffe the al sapone e qualsiasi cosa vi venga in mente. Pulito, due camere da letto grandi, un bagno, una spaziosa cucina fornita di tutto, e una sala per rilassarsi.

Vše plně vybavené, majitel nám umožnil dřívější check in. Vše bylo čisté a voňavé, dokonce jsme si mohli i vyprat aniž bysme kupovali prášek na praní apod. Vše co jsme potřebovali zde bylo. Také dobře napsaný manuál a chytrá televize.

Okna hůře těsní a tak je v pokoji velká vlhkost. Všimli jsme si dokonce i malých teček plísně u oken. Ale po větrání vše dobré, jen by to nějakému člověku s alergií mohlo vadit.

Le cottage est confortable, plus spacieux que ne laisse supposer la photo de l'extérieur. La décoration est soignée, chaleureuse. La cuisine est agréable et bien équipée. Notre hôte Adam, joint par téléphone tard en soirée, s'est montré très réactif pour nous aider à organiser notre trajet/retour de l'île de Skye à Edinburgh en transports en commun, suite à un incident survenu avec notre voiture de location. Il a été en contact avec nous sur WhatsApp jusqu'à 1 heure du matin et a réservé notre taxi. Nous lui sommes très reconnaissantes.

Il faut impérativement avoir une voiture pour profiter de ce cottage.
