Good location in the centre of Nailsworth. Well equipped

First impressions weren't good - stairs to first floor (where the apartment is) fairly shabby, and apartment initially seemed to confirm the 'shabby' view - felt like 1960s student accommodation. Unfairly - it's 'shabby chic' not 'shabby'. BUT - apartment's for 4, and only 3 comfortable chairs. And it was a devil of a job working out how to switch the TV from Netflix to Freesat.

There was no breakfast as we had an apartment. Location of the flat is excellent. The kitchen is compact but had everything we needed.

The flat was freezing when we entered. The heater in the room with the twin beds was very efficient. The heater in the room with the double bed took all night to work. Once we got the heating working the flat was nice and warm. The double bed is as hard as nails and we didn't sleep well at all. Our sons said their beds were very comfortable.

Entrance and stairs need a but if attention to make it perfect

Comfortable bed, cosy and host was very helpful.

Location was good and we were lucky to find a parking space opposite where we could leave the car for the couple of days. Good wifi and well equipped kitchen although we didn't really need it although the fridge was useful.

We would have liked a king size bed rather than just a double and the duvet was barely wide enough. A freezer compartment in the fridge would have been useful. Although there were plenty of instructions they were quite complicated to follow.
