GBGBFriendly welcome, fantastic break away where we could relax in nature and feed the pigs! Will definitely come back again. Perfect balance of camping and luxury and we loved every minute of our stay.
GBAbsolutely loved the peace and quiet in the countryside there. The outside shower, I got up early both days and enjoyed a real peace amongst the orchard. Recommended to do it at night, and it was brilliant. The bespoke upper bed was great for the child, and sufficient cooking utensils/equipment for a family of three. In the morning, child collected some of the floored apples in the orchard and fed the pigs which was great fun and one of his highlights there. Various squirrels going about which was lovely to see. Lovely walk around the orchard and can sit and just enjoy. The plum jam was exquisite! No hesitation in going back.
Actually nothing jumps out at me for not liking horrendously. The sofabed could do with a thicker mattress (lumpy) but I accept it is a level up from a tent where I'd be sleeping on the floor! The child gave it a thumbs up which says it all really.

TWWe had such a lovely stay at the yurt! The surrounding orchard was full of apple, pear, and plum trees—it felt like a little paradise. Norman, our host, kindly told us we could pick up fallen apples to feed the pigs, which was such a fun and wholesome experience. The pigs were adorable, and we really enjoyed spending time with them. At the entrance, there's a charming self-serve booth where we bought three more bottles of their delicious apple juice. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts waiting for us in the yurt: a bottle of apple juice, a jar of plum chutney, and a jar of preserved plums—all homemade and absolutely delightful. For what we paid, the experience was more than worth it. Norman is a wonderful host—warm, friendly, and welcoming.
