Dragon Orchard Retreat

Just back from our 2 night stay in cai yurt at Dragon Orchard Retreat. What can I say...? The whole thing exceeded expectations. Our hosts communicated with us really well in the run up to our stay (I just missed the emails - my fault entirely!!) and a late check-in was no issue at all. We had contact numbers to ask any questions, and the impression that nothing would have been too much trouble. The yurt itself was lovely and homely, with everything we needed. We were in the area for a wedding so we didn't use the cooking facilities, but there was enough to make a simple meal, and tea and coffee. The showers were lovely (my wife was impatient and had a cold one the first time, but running the hot alone for 30 seconds was enough to have a good temperature shower - the outside shower in a circle of apple trees is a lovely experience on a warm day!. There was a log burner with plenty of firewood, although again we didn't use it due to it being 30 degrees outside!! The location in the orchard is truly magical, and I cannot help but feel that is the volume we are meant to live at! We are from a very small rural village, but the peace and silence on the orchard is something else! I would love to go back and have more time relaxing there and really unwinding. I hope we will make it there again soon. Thank you so much!

The yurt was gorgeous and very comfortable, and the orchard and local area were beautiful. We couldn't see another human habitation for miles around! Norman and Ann were very kind and welcoming. We had a great stay - and lots of great walking routes nearby. Strongly recommended!

The Yurt was well equipped and set within a beautiful orchard with lots of wildlife. It was so peaceful. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Plus left a few home grown treats in the Yurt on our arrival.

Beautiful area and the orchard was absolutely gorgeous, must have taken our dog for 4 or 5 walks a day! Dragon nest was also lovely, everything we needed; fully equipped kitchen, a large bath and a big table to play all our boardgames on! Hosts were wonderful too, their mini shop at the entrance is also definitely worth a visit, we tried several of the apple juices and lots of the jams, all delicious! Our stay was very restful and thoroughly enjoyable, will definitely be going back!

What a great little hideaway. I was working away from home and this place was perfect to unwind after work. So peaceful and probably ate better self catering than some of the junk I have had in hotels recently.

Self catering property, very cosy and secluded, located a short way from Ledbury. The facilities were excellent and the location ideal for a quiet break away. Very comfortable and well appointed.

The yurt is set in stunning surroundings (even in torrential rain) The log burner was great and had all of the kit needed to light with ease.

We were staying in Ash yurt which was advertised as suitable for 4. (2 adults and 2 children) On arriving we quickly noticed that the couch/bed for our daughters was not good at all. It was a small fold back couch so when fully reclined was not fit to sleep on. This also had zero bedding. The main bed was comfortable but could do with extra pillows as it only had 1 each.
