I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in September 2024. As a solo female English traveller I was nervous but the staff at the hotel instantly made me feel at home and welcome in their hotel. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful, a traditional Urfa building, the terrace is big and equipped with fans, a water cooler and Turkish tea on tap. The bedrooms are again gorgeous, equipped with big shower and toilet, a mini fridge, wardrobe, and air conditioning. The only issue is the WiFi which does not work in the bedrooms off of the terrace. Also TV in room but only in Turkish. The breakfast is absolutely beautiful again, traditional Turkish breakfast, a MASSIVE buffet. Very fresh and delicious food. I would also like to highlight that no request is too big for the staff at CİHANGİR. I spent one of my days relaxing on the terrace and the lovely gentlemen were sure to bring me watermelon and tea throughout the day and at dinner time I was served a fresh pasta, bread and salad. This was all without my request. I cannot thank the staff at this hotel enough for taking care of me throughout my stay. When I return to Urfa again I certainly will be staying here again. No doubt about it. The location is fabulous. Ten mins from Balikligol, 2 mins from the local Bazaaar, and about 20 min walk from the museum and bus to Gobeklitepe. A truly wonderful place. 5 stars in my opinion. And the manager of the hotel dropped me off air the airport himself in time for my flight home. Again very accommodating and caring staff. The wifi does not work past the terrace.

Otel eski bir taş konak.Mimarisi tam anlamıyla yöreyi yansıtıyor. "Ben Urfa'da kaldım" diyebilmek için müthiş bir firsat. Avlusu, avluya açılan oda kapıları, hemen önündeki dar sokağı sizi hemen etkiliyor.Odada hiç bir eksik yoktu.klima, TV, sıcak su sorunsuz. Personel gayet ilgiliydi. Balıklı göl yuruyereyek 4 dk. Geniş bir terası var. Akşam çay, kahve ikramı sınırsız. Herkesin tünel diye tarif ettiği yerde (Balıklı gölün önündeki ana caddede) kapalı otopark var. Aracınızla ilk önce oraya gitmeniz gerekiyor. Otelin olduğu sokak tarihi nitelikte, çok dar. Araçla oraya girmeye kalkmayin. Otelden ayrılırken otopark için fiş alıyorsunuz. Kahvaltı klasik otel kahvaltılarının çok ötesinde. Karpuzdan, salçalı yumurtasina kadar eksiği yok. Ararsanız mutlaka bir eksik bulursunuz ama Urfa'da otelin imkanlarını kullanamaya değil Urfa'yı yaşamaya gidiyorsanız bu otel size fazlasıyla yeter...

Aile olarak gittik verilen oda çok güzeldi. Konak güzeldi. Oda temiz ve banyosu yeniydi. Kahvaltısı otel kahvaltılarına nazaran gayet iyiydi. Bir daha Urfa’ya gelirsem kesinlikle kalacağım yer burası. Kapalı otoparkları da var ve balıklıgöle 2 dakika yürüme mesafesinde.

This was like a small palace for us. Very friendly staff, good rooms, big, and great breakfast. Parking places close by, hotel payed it for us. They also arranged washing of our clothes. City centre very close. Turkish tea free. Thank you.

Central air condition didnt work very well, rooms were quite hot during the august night.
