It was good, I had a good time and good stay at a good place. Made me feel good and I loved it. It looked good and smelled good. So good.

Brand new hotel in the middle of downtown SLC. Architecturally beautiful but awful in every other way. AT check in, 4 people standing behind desks, all told me “they couldn’t help me” and one handed me a flyer about the hotel and then walked away. It got so bad that the bellman helping me had to use his headset to call for help. Still none came. After 15 minutes (no one else on line, btw), got assigned a room. I am a globalist who stays more than 60 nights in Hyatts a year. No upgrade, no mention of one. No description of Hyatt benefits. Room was nice but small. Ordered a pick up meal at market. $20 brown of bison chilli. Came 1/2 full, watery mess of canned tomatoes. Returned it. None of the room keys worked in elevator. Breakfast for globalists was access to regency lounge, which again was attractive but really just a continental breakfast in a nice room. Called front desk repeatedly to complain, each time, was asked “and what do you want us to do for you?”. Was eventually offered upgrade to suite, which at that point in the evening I did not want and left as soon as I could in the morning. Oh, and my 50+ year old wife had 3 bags she tried to load into trunk as 2 young valets simply sat and watched.

Location was good, went for a conference but brought my family. Front desk was friendly and helpful. It after check in everything else was poor. Room was alright, but not the best clean. Booked for 4 nights, house keeping was asked to come daily since I have a little in diapers. 3 days later, I had to call to have anyone bring my family fresh towels, empty garbages etc. Nothing was done, then took a few more hours before we received such. Not a great experience but good location since it was same building as my convention.

I like the restaurants and location.

The advertising makes this seem like a nicer hotel. I was VERY disappointed with the rooms. The rooms felt like a basic budget hotel. Beds & linens were uncomfortable, very basic. No sound control in rooms, loud. Nothing was nice about the room. It's the same quality as a budget hotel but a price tag of a nice hotel. I was very annoyed that I paid a premium but got budget room. I would not stay here again.

I loved how upscale the property was and everything was very clean. Staff was nice and I liked the market in the lobby for quick snacks and good wine selection.

We had reserved a king room but we got a double queen which isn’t the end of the world but I would have been a lot happier with the room I reserved. I also think the pool should have later hours then we may have used it. And for what you get the rooms are a bit pricey but not horrible.

Lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Ice machine on my floor offered ice, water and ice with water.

This is a great hotel! Super modern and chic. The beds are particularly worth noting. So so so comfy! Great views of the city! The hotel is near many shops, restaurants and bars. Inside it has its own super hopping bar. I highly recommend this hotel.
