Bardstown Motor Lodge

Great outdoor area! Did not like the main window into the room right beside the bed as the blinds were too small and no window covering keeping outside people from looking in as well as the bright light shining into the room (not dark enough to sleep). First smell walking into the room was a little off but turning the air up and opening the back door helped.

Great location for visiting local distilleries. Downtown Bardstown was only a 10-15 minute walk so we didn’t have to worry about driving after visiting a couple bourbon bars in town.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Bardstown Motor Lodge. Check-in was easy and all of the personnel could not have been nicer. The room was a nice size, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioner was quiet. The bathroom was well supplied with toiletries and towels. We spent every evening in the courtyard as that was such a nice place to sit with friends and talk. Firepits were available, but it was way too hot to have a fire. The bar was open if one wanted a drink while sitting there. It was about a five minute drive into Bardstown so the location was perfect. We would stay here again.

A great family staycation location in Bardstown. Spend the day at the pool then walk over to Toogie's Table for a wonderful dinner.

It wasn’t bad although the other two couples in our group ended up not being able to stay with us. That was disappointing. The rooms were fine. We were right by the pool and they were loud and partying back there til very late. Only other complaint was no vending machines so no pop or evening snacks. Otherwise it was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable.

Very clean and quiet rooms. Updated rooms, retro style, really comfortable beds. The staff is also very nice and helpful. Great oasis with a nice pool that is walking distance to Bardstown. Mixed drinks and bar at the pool.

Had to be moved rooms after checking in when it seemed like the bathroom hadn't been touched. Toilet seat dirty and hairs in the shower. Customer service was great though and accommodating moving me to a new room immediately. Property is cute, but cleanliness of rooms should be one of the top priorities!

I had such a great stay at Bardstown Motor Lodge! The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the true highlights were the pool, the cocktails, and the community space. The pool area had such a fun, laid-back vibe — the perfect spot to unwind. The cocktails were fantastic and clearly crafted with care. But what really stood out to me was the intentionality behind the community space. I met so many interesting and cool people during my stay, and it genuinely felt like the space was designed to bring folks together. It’s rare to find a place that nails both hospitality and atmosphere — Bardstown Motor Lodge does both beautifully. I’ll definitely be back!
